Thanks for the reply. I did a lot more testing last night by switching outlets and even using different connectors on the UMC. 5-15, 14-30, 14-50... All having the same issues. I'll try to change the UMC with hope that works for me.

Howdy. Just letting everyone here know this issue is still popping up. I'm experiencing the same issue in Florida. I actually had more faith in tesla than I did in my home... Ended up changing the dryer outlet I was using from a 3 prong to a 4 prong 14-30R, hoping that adding in the ground wire...

Just tried this. Same problem with the 5-15 plus when the microwave turned on. UMC is starting to sound more and more fishy.

I ran the microwave myself so I didn't get to see... I'll get help tomorrow and try again. The rabbit hole is real though. Just noticed my breaker panel is GE and the 30amp breaker is Square D. Not sure how much that can affect things but I would prefer if it was a GE breaker like the rest...

Agree with the rabbit hole. I've turned off the breaker and I'm calling an electrician tomorrow. Hope I can get someone out here quickly. Thanks for your help.

So... This evening I went to Home Depot and picked up the 4 prong outlet. While removing the old 3 prong I noticed the wires were slightly loose. I proceeded to change the outlet and made sure it was pretty tight... Using my neighbors 4 prong 14-30 connector, I plugged in and saw reported...

Thanks everyone. I'll attempt to get a 14-30 from another shop today. If not possible, I'll get with an electrician to move forward with the 14-50.
