What's your next EV after Tesla?

Phantom braking absolutely is solvable and basically has been solved in the newest cars with better cameras & processors. This is such a silly reason to not buy a Tesla. I have driven over 25,000 miles on autopilot in my 2021 MYLR, and have experienced basically ZERO phantom braking during that...

Opinion : There is less science to delivery estimates than everyone realises...

Lmfao. I can assure you that Tesla is not leaking their internal delivery algorithm in the HTML code of their website. That literally refers to the position of the text on the web page.

Model Y - Gigafactory Texas Production

Edit - oops nevermind, I misread. Deleting because yes, you are correct. SA's definitely don't know any more than anyone who pays attention to the online discussion. I don't understand why so many feel the need to just blatantly make stuff up as if they have any meaningful source of inside info...

    Washington State Waiting Room

If you have a VIN, you will almost certainly stay on schedule at this point. Only potential delays would be weather coming up from CA blocking the trucks (I suppose it's theoretically possible that the pass along the OR/CA border could have still have trouble in mid-March, but not super likely)...

    Washington State Waiting Room

Haha wow. I ordered a MYP in mid December, and now with my delivery window recently getting pushed back, ours overlap (mine ends May 10). They must be late getting Giga Texas going, but still expect it to be up in April or something, which will get the MYPs flying out in no time.

    Washington State Waiting Room

Do you have a trade in? If so, take it off your profile entirely until you actually get a VIN. All sorts of ****ery can happen with trade ins causing the profile completion date to be reset in the system. Pretty sure that trade ins are the root cause of 99% of the extreme delays that some people...

    Washington State Waiting Room

The Fife delivery center will be open by Dec 2022, which is when that poster is looking at for their car. So unless they are in some super far flung part of Pierce County, they should be able to get it delivered by then.

How many Safety Score 98 waiting for FSD 10.4?

I have had a 98 since day 1 of safety scores being a thing. I drove over 4,000 miles in that time period, often right in the middle of the city on challenging, overcrowded streets, and still managed to maintain it. I thought at this point I was basically home free, since with so many miles...

A relatively simple solution for phantom breaking from overpasses, why doesn’t Tesla do this???

I suspect they're probably not super inclined to implement broad brush fixes like this for phantom braking, because while it might fix certain false detections of an object, it could easily create new scenarios where the car ignores an object that actually exists and plows right into it...

    Supercharger - Sammamish, WA (LIVE 12 Mar 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

This supercharger can't come soon enough, especially with what a shitshow the Issaquah charger has been lately. I drive by the proposed location for this every day and have been watching like a hawk for any possible signs of construction getting started, but not a hint of anything yet. There's...

How many Safety Score 98 waiting for FSD 10.4?

Hmm, I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize the same guy had posted twice. Thought for a minute that was two separate 98s who just got it. It does seem odd given Elon's latest tweet. I'd be curious if the 98 who says he just got it has ever been anything higher than a 98, or if that's the...

How many Safety Score 98 waiting for FSD 10.4?

Omg, sounds like it's finally happening for us 98s! Nothing for me yet, but I'm feeling optimistic about my chances in the next 24 hours. Been solidly a 98 since the introduction of safety score and drive up to 1,000 miles per week with my 2021 Model Y. Congrats to everyone that just got it!
