Agreed, such a bizarre feeling. Looking out the side mirrors it appears to be exactly centered but as a driver, if you're in the right lane passing cars on your left on a divided road, it's much more comfortable when the car is positioned 3/4 to the right.

Also worth noting that only a couple of months before MCU3 was released, the M3LR had WLTP range increase from ~580 to ~620kms before being reduced back to ~600 after MCU3 was introduced.

All aussie SA's have been given the same info, yes to the new low voltage battery, yes to the new AMD chip, no to dual pane rear windows (That's not a feature that's being introduced on M3's at the moment).

How's that, the day after i talk about AB being available for the new 82kwh batteries, it's now available:

In Australia, we have a new battery pack on MY22 LR's and they're currently not eligible for AB. Tesla claim that they have some improvements to make before the option becomes available again.

Hopefully AB will become available again, would definitely be keen.

To be clear, our LR models recently had a larger capacity battery fitted (from 75 to 82kwh) which saw the range increase from 580kms to 620kms, and approximately 2 months later, they introduced the new chip which reduced it down to around 602kms. Still an increase over the former high voltage...

It's even more excessive on the P, there's a 20km drop in range.

Just got my VIN assigned and had to accept this in order to proceed to delivery. I don't think it's a confirmation that the car gets the updated computer, but certainly looks promising. SA's are also saying that the updates are confirmed, for what it's worth. Nov 11 order in Brisbane Australia.

Looks like it's possible that the new processor requires the upgraded low voltage battery. Has anyone seen any pictures of a model 3 delivered with rear laminated glass? I'm still yet to see it. Also, just an observation but the fact that there's a mix of processors would surely mean that the...

Exciting to see. Interesting that the rear glass wasn't laminated though. Perhaps the rest of the updates will trickle out over the year.

Nice. Picking the colour was tough. I love the exterior in white, but there's just so many in white. On the flip side, i never see the grey on the road so it's hard to confirm that i made the right choice haha.

That's awesome. I'm still holding on to 2 x RT4WD EF's. The sedan has a JRSC ZC, the wagon has an MPFI D16 swapped in from the factory twin carb 1.5. The sedan i've had since '06, the wagon i picked up about a year back with a blown motor.
