I had the charging stats feature in the app for the first two days of ownership, then it just disappeared. Not sure how to get it back.

I picked mine up last Wednesday, it had Michelin A/S. The other MYPs I saw there all had A/S I believe. Mine also came with PPF but no mudflaps, was told they were out of mudflaps.

Where does everyone put their face masks in the interior? In my previous car the headrests are height adjustable and I put a hook onto the sliding metal post. In the MY there isn’t a place for a hook like that and I don’t know where to put our masks where they are accessible and sanitary.

One of them is mine (just took delivery today). There are some pretty bad paint scratches all over the car, but I took delivery and just requested a service in the app. Otherwise like you said, no problem that I saw.

Looks like your order is before January. Don't renew the trade-in, just take it off for now. Renewing it will push your order back. Just ask your SA to add back the trade in when you get a VIN.

Depends on how long you are thinking. Mine takes a little over 100 days (but delivery soon). Most got it much sooner, but I heard a few folks orders taking longer than this also.

If you haven't uploaded pictures and provided mileage then you don't have that in the profile. You will see it in your profile if you do.

A more fitting analogy would be Samsung's S22 phones. The phones will have either a Snapdragon or their own Exynos processor depending on the market, but they are all called the S22 and cost the same (adjusted for local market). The Snapdragon version is better in basically every single way...

Got my VIN today finally. Funny was just texting my SA about inventory cars then the next minute I got the VIN. Was wondering if she just randomly assigned me a demo car lol

A large part of the Tesla experience is the entertainment in the MCU. Some people absolutely don't care about anything outside of the driving, and that's fine. But it is tone deaf to claim that a large performance difference in one of the most important part of the car is irrelevant to everyone...

That’s not true, I have always updated my readings on the same day it expires, and my SA confirmed that it was still pushing my order out.

I ordered the P partly so I could make the last EOQ push, but I guess Tesla wants me to do it twice

It sounds like something is odd with your order...it's totally not normal to get VINed after 2 days.

Anyone assigned a VIN for the past few days? Looks like CA folks are getting VINed today, hopefully us soon.

There is really no advantage to provide trade in until you get a VIN. I got the text in December and I'm still waiting for my car. In fact because of the trade in my order has been delayed over and over.

I just want my two week window, there seems to be no end to this (just pushed out again).

The trade in renewal is pushing your order back, likely. That happened to mine and a few others’ orders.

It is definitely a trap. I got that text in mid December when my EDD was Dec14-31. Never got the car, and apparently every time I had to renew the trade in offer (2 extra times now), it was delaying my order. No harm in waiting until you actually see the VIN first.

Do not do it. I made a mistake of responding with trade in details, and the whole process just kept delaying my order. Wait until you get a VIN.

Think a lot of folks (like myself) are pushed out for a few more days again to Feb 20. I think I saw a couple recently, but they all went to east coast.

I think we all have a similar change (window starts on Feb 20).

There were chatters about trade-ins and every time you have to renew the odometer, it pushes out the delivery date. I have renewed mine 2 times now and I finally asked my SA, who semi-confirmed that it was happening to my order. I took off the trade in today, hopefully that did something positive.

So would it be better to wait until a VIN is assigned then ask to set up trade in?

How would that even work? The trade in offer expires after 30 days, so the buyer will theoretically wait indefinitely? That can't be right.

Maybe the black interior is experiencing shortages? I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with my configuration reporting a VIN. My SA told me today to not expect mine until late February at the earliest.

I haven't seen anyone reporting a VIN for black either, quite discouraging. I really don't want to renew m trade-in offer for the third time but it is getting close.

I believe our state allows the insurance card/doc on our phones. That's what I do so I always have the latest insurance card with me.

You'll have to submit the latest odometer reading, then wait for a new value evaluation. I just renewed the reading a couple days ago.
