Hi All, Can anyone help? My brother has just (2 weeks ago) picked up his Brand New Model Y says he experiences a metallic taste in his mouth when driving. When he puts the windows down, it improves but comes back when puts them up. He also says its worse when he's just fully charged it...

The day i got it i noticed a slight knocking noise going over bumps, so i booked it in. Was in there for approx 5 hours whilst they swapped them out.

It was a knocking noise over bumps ... all fixed now.

OK think i've sorted it. I did a sequence of events .. dunno which one fixed it as i did it all same time. Deleted the phone key Deleted the app and reinstalled it reassigned the phone key Removed the app completely from my work phone Hey presto .. it works 100% of the time now.

Thanks MrT3, I’ve changed it to ‘while using the app’ instead of ‘always’ to see if it makes a difference.

No mate, i connected it to my home wifi to update/download the games and other interfaces but when i got home an update was available .. i did this over the air and my steering wheel and rear seat heaters appeared.

Update the software and the heated seats and steering wheels should appear .. Thats what mine did.

That sucks, but i maybe wrong when is say that the turn around for M3 LR are the ones being delivered and there is a long wait on the SR+ models. Mines with LEX and i ordered mine within days of yours and mine is due in the next 2 weeks.... Allegedly :oops:
