I've never really heard of PPF until I started researching Teslas a few years back. I've also never had a new car before this, so maybe that's part of it. Is PPF a thing that people but for all cars or are Teslas more prone to needing it?

Same. Mine pushed about four weeks further out. It'll probably get updated to next week, then Sept of 2025, and then one day there will just be a Model Y in my garage. That's probably how it works!

Very likely, yes. I haven't been tracking pricing since my order is already placed, but you would also likely have to pay whatever the current price of the car is as well. So if the price has gone up, your price will go up too. Might not be worth it. Just my two cents.

Yep, exactly. Costco always has a nice model on sale with WiFi, several remotes, key pad, etc so once we get the car (EDD is still October!) I'll get that and be all set!

Agreed, good old clicker seems the way to go for me too. We have a detached garage, so don't have the same fear of someone stealing the clicker and getting into my house. I'll save the $325 and use it to update/upgrade my garage door opener instead. Thanks all for the info!
