You may be able to have them deliver it directly to your house. You do not have to be there to receive it. You can even ask them to put it in your driveway for you.

My guess is the range is due to cancellations. They put you in line for a newly built car, which is the end date and have an algorithm that predicts cancelled orders, which is the beginning date of the EDD. If the algorithm rings true and that number of cars are cancelled then you'd get your car...

I had my EDD change a couple days twice and it did not arrive quickly. Today they just added 10 days to the front end of my EDD (End date did not change)

If the tax credit goes through, which I doubt it will, then the M3P would likely be eligible since the Senate version had higher limits. My guess is the BBB bill will never get through or it'll be severely reduced and likely have the EV tax credits get cut/removed.

I wouldn't stress on a tax credit that will probably never come. At least not any time in the near future.
