Yep that must be the case. I got assigned a Vin today and was told to take delivery per my service advisor 12/26-12/28. But I told them I want to delay until January 1 and was unassigned my VIN. New EDD is now 12/26-12/31 lol

New EDD today 12/20-12/31. I'm still planning to defer delivery until 2022.

No VIN for me as of today still. I'm planning on pushing my order out to Feb still however. I dont want to take delivery unless a few of the made in China changes are implemented. Also tires... Must have the Michelins.

Sorry to hear this. I've only had one change in the last month. Hang in there, the time will pass either way and you'll soon have your car and forget all about this thread.

Seems like Tesla could literally be at their ceiling limit of car deliveries from Freemont. Hence the recent Elon email of 'maintaining pace' at the end of this quarter rather than sprinting hard like previously. I don't think Freemont can push anymore cars out the door.
