I had this issue when I first got the car almost a year ago. Service center told me it apparently is the metal flexing when going over bumps. They had to drop the battery and add some kind of foam. It went away for a few months but came back. Doesn't seem to cause any damage but who knows long term

Good question. It is based on either purchase situation. At $25, if you could buy the Amazon one at $11 or $12, it's like getting 2 cases. You pay double for a fancy fit which is nice, but isn't necessary.

I actually did and they refused. Didn't want to bad mouth them since they actually get us our stuff in relatively quick timing and deliver on what they advertise.
