Solving the "WiFi Connectivity" problem...
I spent the last 2 hours connecting a Plaid Model S to a dedicated Unifi IOT network, and found a different problem. 2.4 and 5ghz both work fine. However, vendors are starting to default to using "Protected Management Frames" (PMF), which Tesla doesn't appear to support. UniFi WiFi connection issues, any ideas?
I had this same issue today with a brand new Model S, and after about 2 hours was able to fix it. The Unifi setting is "Protected Management Frames" (PMF), which are by default set to "Required" in a new Unifi Wifi network.
