I can't lie, it was stressful, but I got there in the end. There seem to be a few coming up on inventory that you would expect might be re-assigned to existing orders. For some reason they aren't. Mine was standard AWD/LR with no options specified, so can't believe nobody out there is waiting...

Well, it's been a funny old week sat staring at the Tesla website, hitting refresh, starting chat, waiting in call queues...you get the drill. I've been far too distracted from the work that I should have been doing (lots of extra hours needed now to pull back lost time), but it has paid off...

All I can say is that it seems to be one of the most buggy websites I've ever encountered. I had quite a long chat with one of the TAs on chat about it and he said the same. Errors seem to happen quite often. I don't think I have ever hit refresh quite so much as on the Tesla site 🤣

I have just done this. Be aware that if you are leasing it is slightly more complicated to do. Essentially, you have to complete a new lease application if the new car is a different value. All applications have now moved online so Tesla no longer process for you. I've spent much of today...

That's interesting. I always thought they communicated via SMS. Well, if you are a November order same as me, there is hope I may hear something soon. Hope the installation goes well. I'm glad I don't have to worry about that as well as whether I will have a car to charge with it 🤣

Ask them to put your order on hold and then release it when you're ready to take delivery and they will re-match you.
