Did you perform the install yourself or was it done by an electrician? If you don't mind sharing, what did this long run cost you? I want to install another charger on the other side of my house and it will be about a 50' run to the panel.

The current model is Gen 3, so if you purchased last week, then that's what you will get. I believe the current version (Gen 3) has been around about a year. The amp used will be determined by the panel you have, some will be limited to 50amps. Good luck with the install!

Tesla Gen 3 charger (already installed), taking delivery tomorrow of MYP. Funny enough, I had the charger installed in December thinking I would be getting the car in January. So tomorrow will be the first time I use it, hopefully it works well.

Your SA should be able to verify in their system what is in your build, such as processor type (Intel or AMD).

For those that have used DCU for their loan, do they issue a check to you in your name and then you pay Tesla with those funds or issue the check directly to Tesla? Also is there a choice?

I think it's a complete crap shot the info you get based on the SA you talk to. When I asked one SA about my VIN details, they said ALL MYPs come with AMD, Pirelli Tires and new battery, which we know is not 100% accurate. Then I called another SA, they said they didn't know anything.

For those that have rejected VIN's for variable reasons (Defective car, couldn't take delivery at the specified time, etc.), how long before you were assigned a new VIN? Was it days, weeks, months later?

I just got my VIN today, NF396. I am in NoCal and wonder if this is a reject VIN since I am seeing a few folks with VIN's in the 400s? What are the details that I should confirm with the SA (Chip, Battery, Tires, Build Date, etc)? Also would the SA know if it was rejected prior to my assignment...

My EDD yesterday changed to 3/7 to 3/19, however no VIN assigned. It's a MYP / MSM / Tow / no FSD, hold came off on Jan 1. I assume not getting it today :-)

Just took a look and my EDD pushed to 3/14-3/31, it was late Feb yesterday. I came off hold on 1/1. I‘m in North CA, about 45 mins from the Fremont factory, guess that’s not an advantage 🤷🏻‍♂️

Any chance it had the AMD chip, double pane glass for rear doors and 12v battery, those are new upgrades that are coming out of China for MYP models?
