My estimated delivery window has just narrowed from February 8-22 to February 11-20. I have no idea what that means but at least Tesla remembers about me.
My estimated delivery window opens today. While I understand that this is not a legally binding obligation on Tesla, I would like to believe - would really like to believe - that I may get to see my M3 this week.
My invoice says "plate type: standard". I vaguely remember something about premium plates mentioned at the time of placing the order. What does 'standard plate' mean? Does it mean the ugly black on yellow NSW plates rather than black on white premiums?
Deliveries are estimated to start in 2 weeks. To me that is indicative that first Teslas should be making their way down Australian coast, someplace around Brisbane right now.
Week 10 now of the 8-12 week wait. The plainest of the plain M3 configuration: RWD, white / black, aero, Alexandria delivery. No VIN, no ETD, no nothing. And now that the Morning Clara hopes have sunk, I desperately need a piece of good news.

In my case it is 'true'. No strings starting with '5YJ' or 'EncodedVIN' in the source code. No EDD. Only "We will shortly upload a copy of your final invoice to your Tesla account". Order placed 13 November making it 7 weeks today. It was 8-12 weeks' wait when ordered.
