Exactly. "What works for me" is like a cop-out if Tesla as a whole says it, and if it's not what Tesla as a whole can legitimately say, such a comment is superfluous at best and annoying at worst to those for whom it doesn't work.

Lights and auto wipers are not consistent in Canada either, at least during the winter. Tesla doesn't understand our northern winters. They test their cars in Alaska, but only for short periods and not all winter long, which doesn't represent all types of winter weather. What works in Texas or...

I too am HIGHLY disappointed. I have Tweeted Elon about this, expressing my disappointment in no uncertain terms, and saying "it sucks".
