    2 painful years with a Model S

I will upload the certified Tesla dealer quote when it is in my hands. 27k for the L-driver side rear fender and cracked bumper. It's time people know the truth outside of the fanboys on here. A simple Google search will show this is a very well known issue with numerous Reddit threads about the...

    2 painful years with a Model S

There is 1 certified repair shop in my region of Upstate NY. Unfortunately, they do not work with my car insurance or the insurance of the person who hit me. This is also something for prospective buyers to consider. State Farm (largest car insurer in the US) is my insurance.

    2 painful years with a Model S

That's not what the certified Tesla repair shop says. The small 4cm dent lead to separation of the bonding that Tesla uses. Therefore it must be cut out. And another joy of owning this Tesla, I asked the Tesla Service Center to look at it and confirm the need for replacement and cost. Tesla...

I think the Lord's work would be teaching you to read.....100k price.

    2 painful years with a Model S

The windshield was of very poor quality. Because of Tesla’s method of car construction, the fender has to be cut out from the car resulting in huge prices for simple fixes. I would not call an informative post on issues that have arisen in 2 years a rant. I think it is important for future...

    2 painful years with a Model S

I wanted to post a brief description of my 2 year experience with a Tesla Model S 2021 refresh. Hopefully this can be found by others who are thinking of getting one. The performance is superb. It is very fast and fun to drive. The technology in the UI is above all others. The range is good and...

Am I being an idiot trying to hold onto my p85dL outside of warranty?

FWIW, any Tesla outside of warranty I would unload ASAP. We have had so many issues with our 2021 Model S including the high-voltage battery needing to be replaced after 1.5yrs of ownership. The low build quality could mean huge bills for you outside of warranty.

    2021 Model S High-Voltage Battery Dead in 1.5 years

Our 2021 Model S had to have the battery replaced at 17k miles/1.5 years old. It just randomly died in a parking garage one day and that was it. Tesla replaced it under warranty but they cannot disassemble the battery to know exactly what went wrong. Are others seeing this issue? Kind of...

    12V Battery Problem

I had the same issue today. My 1 year old Model S had the 12v battery die in a parking garage. In the last 6 months I've had the glove box motor replaced, temp sensor replaced, and 6 months of nothing after paying for a winter wheel/tire package they said was in stock. With over 100 grand spent...

Tires Ordered from Tesla in August - Still not shipped to local SC for install

Sorry such a late reply. yes, I gave-up and took advantage of the T-sportline sale. As more fun today, the 12v battery died on me even though it is only 1 year old. Had to be towed from my work. I have to say, I am not super pleased with Tesla at the moment on a 100 grand car.

Tires Ordered from Tesla in August - Still not shipped to local SC for install

Hi fellow Tesla owners. I wanted to share my experience with Tesla to help others. We have a 2021 Model S with the 21in arachnid wheels. We have been trying for the past year to get the 19in tempest rims with snow tires. This August on 8/25/22 we ordered the 19in Tempest Wheels with snow tires...

2021+ Model S tires and wheels: all things (Plaid, LR, OEM, aftermkt, 19, 20, 21, summer, winter etc.)

I apologize if this has been answered and I missed it. I have the 2021 model s refresh with 21in arachnid wheels. I need an inexpensive tire and rim combo for winter and do not completely understand what will work. Can someone explain what they would choose for a 19in rim in the 2-3k price...
