I've seen non-stickered Teslas being pulled over trying to go across the Bay Bridge. But also I've seen a *TON* of clearly non-carpool vehicles cruising through. You are for sure "breaking the rules", just depends on how much risk you're willing to take on a grumpy CHP pulling you over.
