Update: As I pressed enter on this message - Tesla called and they told me they have ANOTHER model X identical to mine but different VIN - I can come and pick up that later today. At this point I can write a book on the ups and downs of buying these cars.

EDD moved another few days to March 25 - April 11 (originally it was March 21 to April 9th). Didn't see this happen so far - fingers crossed for that VIN.

No VIN yet but got an updated date to March 21 to April 9th - the 2nd time around since it jumped to July after the first estimated timeframe.

Most of the 5 seat orders from the other thread got their dates pushed back to July. Dunno what to make out of this, I hope that at least the people that got an approximate delivery date are somewhat closer to actually get it.

And back to July for me as well - based on this post: Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room - I think it will move back and forth a few times before we get a VIN.

Do you remember when you got a more precise range on your delivery times? (e.g from February to March X to Y). How much time in between the start of that range to an actual VIN?

I also got an update on the estimated date to March 10 - March 31 - it updated sometimes today. MXLR, Blue/Black/5 seat/FSD, Ordered May 2021.

What's the working theory on why most of the EDDs moved to July? Are they missing components again or it's just a subset of reservations (e.g non-plaid OR 5/7 seat etc). We need a car by fall and my current EDD for a 5 seat is July 2022. I have 0 confidence that will happen especially for a 5...

Scratch that, seems like someone messed up the spreadsheet. No 5 or 7 seat deliveries yet =(

Did something happen to the spreadsheet or there were a few people that got 5 seat and 7 seat delivers (non-plaid) ?
