Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

UPDATE!! Finally we call the help of an external mobile service. They charged the V12 battery and we could charge the car again. But there were still errors re the v12 battery. We made an appointment at Tesla service. They checked and replaced the battery under warranty. Great job at the end...

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Yeah I choose Tesla because I thought they had an advance on AI... Rocky, where do you have the wisdom from that the settings ar on by default. I hope for you that you never need their support..

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Sentry and Summon Standby were not active. I am a simpel user and used to great support. Before Lexus for example. They would never initially tell their client to find help somewhere else to transport the car to them. They would first help and then discuss with facts. And especially with a brand...

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Yes your last one. failing battery, not a failing customer, but a failing support experience. They say just transport it here... So they can check and I already know the conclusion.. No not a good feeling about the support!!

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

If I keep the car awake? I am a user.. I thought there is AI. And I did not turn on all those apps etc. Or the car is not really clever or Tesla support has no capacity to support..

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Agree that I can replace it, but then maybe the warranty will be impacted. Its a new car.

Also dont understand why there is poor support. I read on their site something like customer first.. If Tesla want to beat German cars it has to look how they support their clients. And does not matter what a model 3 or the most expensive one. If they believe in the quality they should say. We...

    12v battery horror story

No they did not. According to this support communication it is normal the the car loses 96km in 5 days. So charge it all the time and don't plan a week holiday..

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

I was not notified. The car is parked in an underground garage with less connectivity. I opened the tesla app on 15th and discovered it was zero. Because I could not believe it, I asked my son to check, see attached photo on original post.

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

    1) Do you use or have you ever used Sentry Mode? NO (but Telsa tell me that I did..) 2) Do you use or have you ever used Cabin Overheat Protection? NO 3) Do you use or have you ever used any third-party application that can access your car? NO 4) Do you have or have you ever had any third-party...

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

I agree that it is likely the problem of the 12V battery. But the car is brand new and I expect Tesla to support that without discussions. This is not about the cost. It is probably low. But they have the experience and how easy is it to send someone. But instead I am left over to solve it myself.

Transport with a transport company to transport the car. Not drive

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Tesla did not say to drive it. Tesla tells that it is normal that the battery is empty after 5 days with no special features on and no cold weather etc. The car is less than a year and only 15k km. New and should have warranty. But I am now communicating with them for days and I still have no...

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

I don't use and never used sentry mode and it is off in my app. But Tesla said that it is on? But then that is the only thing and I never used it..

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Exactly. If I drain the HV battery to zero.. Then I would agree with the response. But since I only did not use the car for 5 days and there was 96km in the battery I think it is questionable if it was me who drained the battery. Is that normal then for a Tesla?

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Cannot follow you. Its a model 3 performance. That lost 96 km in 5 days while parked.. The question is if that is normal and it is my fault or can I expect that this car can manage to be parked a week while having 96km batery capacity? If yes.. Then I will sell it tomorrow

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

The car is still under warrenty, less than a year old and 15k km. I dont think it is wise to do this myself. I would expect great service though?

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

So meaning at this worst case scenario it will be lets say 7%. So the battery should never be empty after 5 days starting at 96 km. So Why for Tesla this is then the conclusion and decide not to give me better support for it. I am left alone with the problem and am asked to call a car transport...

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

According to Tesla sentry was on. I never used it and in my app it indicates off. Strange.. I thought it is safe to leave the car parked for 5 days with 96 KM charge 1/4th of a normal (80%) charge. When we wanted to re-charge it was too late. Do you also think this is normal? The car is not...

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

According to my app sentry is off. But Tesla tells me that they see it is on? And is this also consuming if not used, I never used it. LFP I dont know. It is a 21 model and only 15k km. SOC I dont know what that is?

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Hi the level of the HV battery when my son made the picture was zero. The issue is that Tesla tells me that it is normal that the battery return to zero from 97km in 5 days. The car was not driving. It was parked while I was away for business and this is what we found after 5 days.

Tesla says "Gray area for the warranty" and says I drained it [12V covered under warranty - resolved]

Do you think the following is an acceptable explanation when a tesla reduces 100km in 5 days without using and with an error code (e-182) that the low voltage battery must be replaced. See image at the end. Answer from Tesla Netherlands: "Your Model 3 manual also states that “drawing down to...

    12v battery horror story

Only 15000 km. I am in the Netherlands. The thing is that Tesla service try to tell me that it'ss my fault. I did not charge and not use the car for five days. But the car was 100km charged and not used in these 5 days. So instead of providing support I have this discussion and they call it a...
