Hi DNO question! Is a G99 required to enable off grid/ island mode for power outages on the Powerwall? I have a supplier saying that they can just notify the DNO after install(5kW PV plus Powerwall) I assume it’s all full fat g99 unless the battery and PV are limited to 16A each and island mode off.

Yes my VIN has E for battery which according to one decoder is NMC which I think LG just recently started supplying to China for the Y. So I suspect 82 kwh

The VIN decoder shows "C = 2 Front, 2 Rear, 2 3rd Row Seat Belts, Front Airbags, PODS, Side Inflatable Restraints" for mine. I wonder if this means a 3rd row of seats will be available to be added after market if the belts are there? Also I thought hairpin was just a P thing not a LR but :)

I believe you can cancel accepted Tesla trade ins, so nearer the time I was going to put it on Motorway (its a dealer only auction), you don't have to accept the outcome of the Motorway auction

Woo trade in came through today and once accepted gave me a VIN. Ordered 16th Jan MY Blue/Black Gemini, no timeframe yet though. The trade in was £300 less that WBAC but £1000 less that Motorway (£12K) I've accepted the Tesla trade in and I might see how the Motorway auction goes

I bet they could just predict demand for each specification. E.g Blue/Black is maybe 15% of all orders. Probably over time the ratios of configs stabilise and therefore it’s pretty predictable for the factory. Then if they know that there are 4000 unmatched orders and the next boat is arriving...
