I'm extremely annoyed. I took out the Trunk mat over 12 hours ago and when I got in my car this morning that strong smell is still in there. Now I need to figure out how to get rid of it, it's bizarre and frustrating.

The car is still sold from Fremont even though you get an Austin build, and yes there are plenty of people in Houston that have taken delivery of MYSR and the new MYLR which still have 2170 batteries from Austin. No MYP's in production currently from Austin.

I live in Texas and the heat is excruciating here. When I got back to my car after work due to heat the smell was so bad I got a headache. Took it out when I got home for now to air out outside. Let’s see tomorrow

I tried repositioning. It’s as close as it will get to the rear seat before it starts to crease and fold. Yes the overhang is abnormal which is what I was referring to.

@ldcrsmode could you tell me if this is normal. The fitment is not flush. It leaks at the front where trunk closes. Thanks.

My guess in MYLR on Gemini 19” wheels the max you’ll probably get is 250ish miles. Also keep in mind you probably won’t charge above 90% or go below 20% either so you have to keep that in mind

your question is vague in that it depends on which Y you are referring to. I took delivery of a MYP end of June and couldnt be happier with my decision. Regardless of MYLR or MYP don't expect to get the Estimated numbers they advertise. You'll be lucky to get 280 in a MYLR in Texas, specifically...

I would stay away from anything other than ceramic tint IMO... AIR 80 is a chinese brand which im not a fan of either.. they are proven to be unreliable. At the bare minimum I would make sure to get Suntek, XPEL or any other reputable US made brand.

14 days for car to arrive. Got my vin june 6 I took delivery June 21. Keep in mind when car arrives to Tesla center locally it takes 2-3 days for them to do inspection and process temp Tags. Just make sure you handled everything from your side asap

I think mine is fine. I’ll double check the fitment by end of day today but yea he may just need to push it up some more tightly for better fit
