Finally picking up, congratulations!!!

I heard about this on a YouTube video that was going over the pick up checklist. So I assumed that's how they deliver it. But now a few folks are saying they had washer fluid when they picked up back in May.

I wanted to mention that the Model 3 doesn't come with windshield washer fluid at pick up. If you try it and it doesn't work this is the reason. They didn't mention it when I was picking up the car.

Hey Rich From what I've seen they give you 3 days to pick up the car or give to the next person. If I were you I would get in touch with Tesla through the text message you received when you originally bought the car to see what options you have. You might be able to change your pick up location.

My EDD remained the same Aug 1 - 5 before and after that text. They changed my EDD to this range first and then I saw a VIN in the source code. Then a few days after they sent the "car has left the factory" message.

Just got a text confirming Model 3 has left the factory and to look for another text to schedule pick up date.

When you ordered the car you would have received a text message saying "welcome to the Tesla family..." You can reply to that text and someone should respond. I used that this past week to communicate with the local Tesla dealership.

Might be some truth to it. My buddy who ordered one day after me first week of Nov got his red Model 3 with Aero wheels on May 25th and my black Model 3 with 19" wheels has EDD of July 26 - Aug 9.

It should not. You can contact Tesla to find your order date. My date didn't change on my order agreement after changing to RWD.

Log into your web based account and click on the link "View" beside "Order Agreement". Download the aggreement and it should be on the left side of the first page.

Did you get a two week window yet? Since financing is good for 90 days you can still benefit from the guaranteed rate even if your EDD is a 4 week range.

Bank of Canada just raise interest rates by 1% today. I'm going to apply for financing just to hold the rate for 30 days. The credit application is good for 60 days. It's worth the risk to me.
