Tesla can provide the insurance if you want them to. I went with Churchill, they seem a popular choice but I have seen Direct Line mentioned a few times.

I went with Churchill. My quote actually went down a bit once I gave them the reg. Included foreign travel in Europe too.

I found Direct Line to be at least a couple of hundred pounds dearer. Comprehensive plus with Churchill £458. Thought I’d got an amazing price. Fair play mate.

May I ask a more general Tesla question…? If a Tesla is being collected from Bluewater, I assume this is where it is registered? If so, what two letters would be at the start of the reg. no? I can’t seem to find info on this anywhere.

USS confirmation on 29/10. Hidden VIN 29/10. Text to ‘prepare’ for delivery 31/10. Arrange collection text 7/11.

I live in the south and picking up at Bluewater. Earliest date I could choose was 6th December.

I just had the Tesla Vision message on my account. Received the exact same EDD too. But I haven’t got a hidden VIN? Is there a link to see if I have one? The previous link I use hasn’t changed.

I think I have same spec and exactly the same order date. My EDD is Nov 17-Dec 3. I’m losing optimism I’m afraid as it’s almost 3 weeks until earliest delivery date and still no news!

It is strange. These were cancellations I was told, by two different reps.

Surprisingly not… I’d just have to pay the difference. For example, if I paid £1,100 I could get the blue coloured one.

Today it was a long range in white. Yesterday there was a blue one with standard spec and a white one with enhanced autopilot.

I have been called by Tesla three times in 2 days offering me cars with slightly different spec. I haven’t been able to take them up on any of them as they would be too much money for me. Surely this is a positive step though… does this mean I’m almost at the front of the queue for a vehicle?!

Spec in signature. Ordered 7th Feb. My EDD changed to September 22 - September 30 last week and I’ve been checking every day to make sure it doesn’t revert back to December! What percentage chance do I have to receive my vehicle next month?

Why aren’t Shanghai producing standard M3s anymore? I ordered early Feb and my EDD is stuck on Nov-Dec. Can’t believe so many people are getting earlier dates and VINs when they’ve ordered 3-4 months later!! :mad:
