This HUD uses the scroll wheels on the steering wheel for a lot of it functionality. Wouldn’t that interfere with the Teslas use of those scroll wheels?

It has been probably six months since we had had the issue. I think there’s been lots of pressure to reduce cost at the service level. Certainly not good for customer satisfaction. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Whatever they did, I hope it works for you. In addition to what you mention that they’ve done with your car, for mine, they replaced the window, and that seemed to have done the trick. Just FYI.

Is this thread limited to android phones or will it work with Apple iPhones? I use the Google Calendar on my iPhone, but haven’t found a way to get it to show up on my Tesla MY 2022. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They tried the same repairs on my Y and ended up replacing the window glass. Finally, that solved the problem. See if they can do this for you.

My problem was with the passenger side front window. It would go up and then reverse down. This would happen several times and eventually it would close. My problem was very different than your experience.

After three mobile tech visits, the tech replaced the motor, the regulator, and checked everything out. It still didn’t work so he told me to schedule a SC visit to fix it. At the service center. They ended up replacing the glass and that seemed to have caused the problem. No problems since.

My experience is, there are no adjustments on the model Y. I had mobile service out twice, followed by service center visit to fix a problem, and all they did was to replace the regulator, the motor, and finally the window itself. No adjustments involved.

Correction-I tried to get my 2022MY aligned at Firestone today and they said they could not do it. Sorry for misinforming anyone.

They replaced both of those on my passenger front window, along with the window itself, which finally fixed the problem. Bummer that you have to wait five weeks to get it fixed. At least now they have the parts.

Call Tesla and get these items fixed. I know in some cases it’s isn’t that easy but that really is the answer.

Try a Firestone shop. They appear to be doing alignments on Teslas if you have them down there.

I tried your suggestion, and it solved my issue with reduced regen braking. Thank you for posting that. I had not seen the suggestion anywhere else.

The problem that’s being discussed here is that the regin breaking wasn’t normal when the outside temperature was warm and the battery was also warm. It was far less at speeds above 30 mph for me.

I saw a suggestion in another thread that said, to toggle the breaking when cold on and off again to get region back to where it is supposed to be. I tried this today and it worked for me.

I guess this could be a silly question, but what is AFAICT?

My wife drove the car today and immediately upon returning, she said that the regin breaking was significantly less than before. I don’t understand why this is happening to so few cars.

That's a thought, but I am confident that is not the issue.

I have noticed significantly less regin braking after this update at speeds above around 30 mph. Below that speed it seems to be normal. Anyone else noticing this

Update, 2022.36 had car left open notifications will now notify you when the doors have been accidentally left unlocked. I guess that’s what triggered the notification and it seems like it had nothing to do with the phone having been left in the car except that the car didn’t automatically lock...

It’s a good thing that she had the phone and the card but since those didn’t work, the app is a good way to unlock.

Is someone else driving the car? When you use the wall connector, it looks at the driver profile of the last driver in the car. So, make sure that person has the home profile set.

This has been reported before. Your fixes appear to be to replace the window, regulator, motor or glass. Get a tech out to take a look at it.

Just a crazy thought, try unchecking that box in the settings for a couple of days and then check it again and see if that does anything. Over the years in working with computers, I have found this to be a fairly standard troubleshooting fix.

Never mind about the model Y question; upon re-reading your answer, I realized you have a model Y. But it could still be important as to the date it was produced.

I am having my model Y alignment done and the shop doesn’t have specs for a 2022 model but they do have specs for a 2021. Are there any differences between the two years as far as alignment is concerned?

Headlights on auto and off.
