This location (Shirley) is already attracting weirdo’s. Here is a picture taken today of a homeless guy trying to plug the supercharger into his wagon/shopping cart . 🤷🏻‍♂️

The pseg (electric) meter is now on and running also the covers are off all the equipment (sc transformer). Looks like it’s working from the meter going but I didn’t have my Tesla today to plug in to test It.

Electric contractors there today (Monday).

Just drove by tonight and the electric meter is installed but not on yet. Sorry didn’t take a picture.

Meter is in, just not on and bag still over the charging transformer thingy’s.

Can’t wait. Still wish they put it in the Applebee’s/ Aldi’s parking lot Down the road. It’s more open and right off the highway. Where it is now (or gonna be) there is no where to sit and eat a meal in the shopping center. Also Shirley isn’t the safest area to begin with so to have it tucked...

Just an update: Drove by tonight and still no electric transformer installed yet to power everything. Charging station is still in Limbo. Have a great evening/day everyone.😁

Here’s some updated pics Sunday night 3/6. Construction fence is gone. 12 stalls look ready to go. But no giant electric transformer Installed yet to power everything. This location and Shirleys new location seem like they will be done just in time for when gasoline hits over $5.00 a gallon 🙃.

My Tesla buddy tells me those big rectangle things under theTesla covers are the Tesla charger transformers not the individual Tesla charging stalls.

I really wish they installed it across the street in the bigger CVS/Dunkin dounuts/Hurricane wings parking lot instead. There would have been more opinions for food and shopping. Plus the parking lot is huge over there. The Starbucks parking is so small. I bet in the summer when it get busy ICE...
