Sold my 22 Plaid X, questions about Raven Regen

No it was grey and I sold it on FB Marketplace.

Sold my 22 Plaid X, questions about Raven Regen

Then be sure not to buy a new X. The regen is not adjustable and much stronger than even the regular mode of the pre-refresh.

Sold my 22 Plaid X, questions about Raven Regen

After 13k miles, I threw in the towel and sold my '22 X Plaid. There were too many things I disliked, most of them related to the steering yoke and haptic controls, as well as the horizontal screen. I'm now considering a low mileage pre-refresh Raven X, (a 2020 or 2021). Does anyone know if...

Model X Plaid delivered without the 22 inch wheel covers on the wheels

Anyone want a set of covers? I took them off my Plaid MX and am willing to part with them if you didn't get yours.

    (3) Three New Continental SportContact6 22" 265 & 285 Tires for Model X

3 Brand New (unmounted) Original Equipment Tires for a Model X. These have the factory foam inside them. Long story, but basically my dealer ended up buying me a free set, less 1 front tire. Unfortunately I sold my Plaid MX and now have no use for them. Again this is for (1) NEW Front Tire...

    2023 x plaid

Felt the same. It doesn't get any better, at least for me it didn't. Sold my 22 Plaid X after 13k miles of trying to love it. Including the yoke, which at first I was OK with but later came to despise, as well as those silly haptic buttons. Should have kept my 2018 P100D MX.

    Regen Braking Question

Well, "should" and "are" are very different things. Have you actually driven a refresh X in the snow or any other slippery surface? I have 2500 miles on my Plaid X and it's terrible. The option needs to be returned, period. It's a simple update. PS - ABS doesn't activate below a certain...

Wiki Model X Refresh Issues Thread

Yes, have that too - but had that on my pre-refresh X too. I think it has something to do with a weak signal .

Wiki Model X Refresh Issues Thread

Got the rear restraint issue too on 2022.8.2. Also now after updating have a whining and more pronounced vibration in the yoke upon initial few miles in a drive- whereas before it was just a more numb vibration without the whine.

    Rejected Delivery

Tesla lets us beta test their software, so I guess they figure why not let us do build quality QC as well? 🤣

    LR vs Plaid differences

Tire wise, my Plaid with 22's came with Continental SportContact 6's, which are extreme performance summer tires. LR's with 22's appear to be coming with Pirelli All Seasons. I'm told the 20" Plaids are also coming with summer tires as well.

    Model S Software/Firmware wishlist

And it's gone on the Model X too. They need to bring it back.

    Regen Braking Question

There should be an option to switch it to low. Tesla needs to bring it back. The aggressive regen is especially dangerous in snowy or slippery conditions.

Winter Driving in Plaid X with 22's

My '18 P100D X never had a single issue in the snow with the All Seasons. It was downright impressive actually for an all-season tire.

Winter Driving in Plaid X with 22's

The only reference to tires I can find on the Plaid X page states: "New Wheels and Tires New performance tires deliver better handling and ride quality with lower rolling resistance and are paired with new aerodynamic wheels for an updated look." The problem with this statement is that are...

Winter Driving in Plaid X with 22's

First - let me just preface this post by stating that this is a direct comparison to my 2018 P100D MX fitted with the OEM Pirelli factory all-season tires on 22" wheels. I've driven that in all types of conditions, on ski trips here in the Northeast - from -15 degrees and 6" of snow to...

2022 Model X front doors difference versus 2021 Model X?

Yes, same behavior here on my Plaid X. I spoke with a Tesla rep at delivery because the door wouldn't autoclose - it needed to be opened further to use autoclose if that makes any sense - in another words, if you don't quite close it, or it's just about ready to latch but doesn't for whatever...

What tires comes in the MX plaid 22” wheels

My '22 Plaid X with the 22" package I took delivery of about 2 weeks came with Contisport 6 tires - they are Ultra Performance Summer Tires - and they absolutely suck in the snow (ask me how I know!) - my '18 P100D MX came with 22's but was originally fitted with Pirelli All Seasons that...

    2022 Model X Plaid Delivered

I noticed the seat cushion in my Plaid X was firm but thought it was me. Then I drove my '18 MX P100d and definitely a difference. My '18 was much more comfortable. Guess it's likely they are using a different (cheaper) foam in the seat?

2022 Model X front doors difference versus 2021 Model X?

So let me get this straight - I go into my Tesla app, open a ticket, and any time day or night, and my problem will magically be fixed? You sure about that? Seriously guy, if you don't own a refreshed X, don't bother commenting. You're wasting your time and ours. This forum is to share...

    Regen Braking Question

Unfortunately no - it was first thing I noticed when I pulled away from my delivery. I went to switch it to "LOW" and there was no setting. I went inside to speak to a Tesla rep and he said you haven't been able to adjust regen since 2020.

Plaid X Vibration at beginning of each drive: Who is experiencing this?

No. I had a 2018 Model X with the shudder - (had suspension components replaced and it went away). This is NOT that shudder. This feels like you're driving over a very fine gravel road.

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

Great. I picked up my '22 Model X plaid last Thursday as well and experience same vibration. I thought maybe it's a tire temp issue as it seems to go away after the car warms up. Really not happy to hear everyone experiencing same thing - seems to be a design flaw. The last thing I want is...

Plaid X Vibration at beginning of each drive: Who is experiencing this?

I have the same issue on my 90 mile 2022 Plaid X build date Jan 22. Definetly something strange going on first few minutes driving, and then it appears to be fine. When I adjust my suspension to very low it actually gets worse. But as said, after a few minutes, it seems to go away.

Picked mine up yesterday, was missing a tow hook cover.
