iOS Beta feedback is now showing similar reports (less than 10) for the report I submitted but at least it’s on their radar now hopefully

Report back here if it resolves your issue. But I’ve tested with another iPhone running 17.2 and no issue. So I’m pretty sure it’s a Apple iOS issue and not Tesla.

I tried to install the developer build last night and still not working :( This is a major bug.

I updated to ios 17.4 beta but can’t reply to any messages in the car. It looks like the message is sent, but when I check my phone it doesn’t show any of the messages. So I’ve been replying using voice but no one’s getting my messages. Do you have that issue?

28.2 had this message appear for a brief second while reversing and then it disappeared. Could be a bug in this SW update.

Interesting theory. Definitely sucks how weak it has become. Whole point is to reduce brake wear. Can’t imagine how it will be once colder weather hits.

Still pretty weak regen after testing. When I first got the car a few months ago, I never needed to touch the brakes. Hopefully a fix comes eventually…

Got the update. Went for a quick drive and couldn’t really tell if there is a difference. I want to say there is a slight improvement but hard to say. Will update after some more drives.

Can someone update here once they get 2022.24.5? Will do the same once it comes through

Same issue for me. Regen seems really weak and I had to slam the brakes at one point as I have become use to the stopping distance releasing the accelerator. SoC is between 70-80% and I’m on 20.8. Something definitely doesn’t seem right.

I'm not trying to influence others lol...at the end of day its my choice as much as its yours. I don't have my car, and I can easily delay it. SA said it would be another few weeks likely. Its a free forum to share perspectives and I wouldn't mind to hear from pro matrix folk as well...so...

I can personally reject delivery but I chose not too. Tbh the reflector do a much better job as I have spoke with people who have both. People are under the notion that newer = better. Not not always true. No one knows the future of the matrix lights. Their highest selling vehicle (MYLR)...

After you’re likely not going to realize these are installed or not. There’s so much other stuff to enjoy. Just no light show showing “Tesla” ;) lol

I posted in the Matrix light discussion about someone who rejected their VIN got pushed back to September/October. Pickup was Fremont. So they probably put them at the bottom of the list as they know the reason why it was rejected lol

I agree but based on VIN and manufacturing date, you should be able to tell.

I just saw someone post they rejected delivery at Fremont and their delivery date has been pushed to September October.

I just called my local SC number from Google and then pressed 1 for vehicles and then 2 for new vehicle delivery. Then just asked “order status” and get transferred to a rep. Keep me posted if it works.

I heard that SAs shouldn’t be telling people if they have them or not. If word gets out to the general public, it could cause people to reject just like many who were trying to get an Austin built model Y. The features for matrix still need to be approved for use by Transport Canada. Likely...

What is your VIN? Are you planning to reject if it’s not matrix? Also I see you already have a delivery date. Did you schedule delivery through app or through your SA?

I always wondered why they would put matrix in the lower priced vehicles and not higher. Also wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a paid feature to activate in the future like heated rear seats for 2021 M3s

Its the MVPA agreement on the account page. If you have a VIN in the source code, it will be listed on there as well. Also please update us with which VIN you got 26X

I personally won’t be rejecting my car if it doesn’t have matrix lights. For me it’s about interior user interface, other things I actually interact with that enhance driving. But those who do get it with all the other enhancement (Ryzen, 12V) it’s a great build and should consider themselves lucky.

When SAs are told not to tell people about lights, I think that’s bad business.

You would think Tesla should notify us if there is a physical change with the vehicle. There is a difference between the headlights and how they function. I heard from someone earlier today that according to Tesla, they should not be telling people about the lights. Doesn’t really instil trust...

I called Tesla and they have no info about the lights. Said I would need to wait until the car arrives at the delivery center to know what it has. My SA never answered the question related to the headlights but did reply when I asked about delivery info. Take this with a grain of salt...I don't...

I will try calling again tomorrow. He did say it had the AMD Ryzen but no info on headlights. Everything is so secretive lol

I called and they said they don’t see any headlight info. Could be because my VIN was just assigned yesterday?

I texted mine to ask and was ghosted. Usually they were pretty quick at replying before, but now I asked about the lights and *crickets* lol

I messaged the SA to ask about lights. No reply. Usually have been pretty good with replying until now.
