From what I recall, the 100kwh battery pack is 100lbs(?) more heavy than the 85/90kwh pack, which, according to Tesla, affects the timing of airbag deployments in the event of a crash. Not sure if this is real, or just Tesla lies to scare people from upgrading.

Yes, I went thru most of the threads regarding this problem. Most, if not all issues were fixed under warranty. Unfortunately, my car is no longer under warranty. So I just wanted to pinpoint the exact part required rather than changing everything in the vicinity.

Just an update on the situation, Tesla is ignoring my questions. As for the charge port, the lights are back. The door sensor looks like it is dead as it thinks the charge port door is open all the time when it is not.
