Just chipping in here that I've had great support from Hansshow, though it's fastest over Whatsapp instead of e-mail. Info and pictures back and forth, and they stood behind bad (or outdated) directions that shipped with my screen, which resulted in damage to one of the wires. Sent me new wires...

How did this work out? Any finished pictures? I'm thinking I'll do this for dash cam and future accessories (always on unless car is completely sleeping), while tapping into the brake controller socket for radar detector (on when the car is fully on, off otherwise).
