Hi all I charged my 2022 Model 3 RWD to 100% and get only 431km range. Is this normal? It’s significantly lower than the advertised range of 491km. Does everyone have similar range at 100% state of charge?

It’s likely a problem with the faulty drive unit inverter from my own experience. I had same error. Took it to Tesla and they replaced the inverter under warranty. They had to remove the rear drive unit. Big job.

Did they buy your car back? My M3 suffered the same issue within 2 months of delivery.

Lost my M3 RWD rear inverter after less then 2 months and 2220km - feb 2022 build. apparently 12 weeks for part to come from China.

just to let people know the status: when I picked up the loan M3 from the Richmond SC today I was told that my car rear inverter failed and they ordered the part from China which will take up to 12 weeks to arrive. Ouch!!. They said this was quite rare as this is only the 2nd case in Australia...

Does anyone know where to get 12v Li-on battery for 2022 Model 3? Mine died within 2 months of delivery and trying to find a faster way to get it replaced.

I am somewhat in a similar position. I took delivery of my 2022 Model 3 in May and now less than 2 months the car is bricked because the 12v battery is dead. and its a 12v Li-ion battery with different connector, I can't even put in an after market battery. car sitting in the garage to be towed...

@EcoCloudIT - did you finally get your 12v battery replaced? how long does it take? My 2022 Model 3 12v battery died on last Friday only less than 2 months of delivery.

It's worth the wait. You will enjoy it. Trust me. Just only 1 day in and I don't think I will ever want to go back to ICE anymore

Yes, they told me that the chip controling the right side of the car i.e mirror, door, windows etc was faulty and they have ordered and replaced the chip. The car is on the way to Melbourne from NSW. My delivery is now booked for 6 May. Hope there won't be delay with the carrier

Vietnamese Vinfast startup car company sells their electric cars without battery and instead they use battery hiring model where customers pay monthly battery hiring fee plus charging fee if they use Vinfast fast charger. Just a different business model.
