there is a way to disable the power and then work on it, Service Center told me that if I replace the tail lights, car needs to be reprogrammed or install software version which supports new charging port, however there is no retrofit option available at this moment.

Because anything new you add, it needs adaptation by using oem software, I’ve done retrofits on german cars and I know it’s possible on any.

Bmw had it like over 10 years ago :) my F10 535i had it.

Interesting part is; I saw someone picked up Model S few weeks back on a same day as me and his car got updated lights but not mine. And people at Tesla told me that they had to stop the production in a middle of the day for an hour and then start installing refreshed lights, the ones not out...

Unfortunately mine got old headlights and taillights

Mine makes exactly same creaking noise, picked it up few weeks ago, first day it didnt have it, but came after 100 miles and also wind noise as well.

Crazy, I picked up my Model S week ago and they already refreshing it? (( Once, refreshed one will be out we will look for retrofit I guess :)
