Aodhan AFF7 Foreged Wheels on Model 3

These will 100% fit. I'm on this exact wheel size with 265/35's and no issues. I put spacers on the rear to make them sit flush with the fender, but they fit just fine without them. While your 245/40's will be a tad taller than mine it should not make much of a difference, especially since they...

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

Yeah, I have the acceleration boost already but was really looking forward to unlocking the full potential. Who knows, if I find a good deal on a 980 motor in the future I may just swap it myself. Seems like service mode would allow me to have the controls necessary to to perform the swap (like...

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

My 2018 LR AWD w/ the 980 motor had to have its rear drive unit replaced, it got the exact same unit that you are mentioning. I contacted Ingenext and they confirmed that I now have a 990 rear motor, thus preventing me from getting the ghost module. 😢 The 630 MOSFET gives it away on mine. I'm...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

I am still debating going with Tein, all of the other quality options are double to triple the price and (for me) have marginal gains. Everyone who compares the Tein with the other options always says that they punch a class above their price.

Suggestions for towing 2 ebikes with model 3 LR

I agree with what you said about the warranty aspect. For the capacity comment, their vertical load capacity (tongue weight) doesn't make sense. They say 55kg but rate the Model 3 for towing 2000lbs in Europe. Tongue weights are typically 10-15% of the towing capacity (200-300lbs in this...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

FWIW, I saw around a 10% range penalty going from 235's to 265's on a 19" x 9.5" wheel. My 265's have a more aggressive compound, but the wheels are a tad lighter than the aero wheels. My overall setup is still a little heavier than stock because the tires are the bulk of the weight. As...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

The only reason I am pursuing this is because she has insurance and they will end up paying the diminished value. (if awarded in court) It is just unfortunate that I have to go after her and not her insurance directly, otherwise I would. The law is quite confusing in that regard, sue the person...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

I am really dreading the time between sending the demand letter to the woman that hit me and the small claims court date. I feel like I should be on high alert at home since they live close-by, their group of friends could make the bad decision to stop by.

I did not install the fenders on it, I like the look of the bike without them. I chose it mostly because it was cost effective, the tech included is awesome for the price, and I liked the look. I really only ride on gravel and not hardcore mountain bike trails so I didn't need anything...

Suggestions for towing 2 ebikes with model 3 LR

Late to this thread, but hopefully this is helpful. We have 2 e-bikes that each weigh 73lbs, this makes it very difficult to find a bike rack that would accommodate such heavy bikes. I just installed a stealth hitch and bought a Hollywood Sport Rider rack, it is a 2-bike rack that supports...

Aodhan AFF7 Foreged Wheels on Model 3

Didn't realize there was a thread for this wheel specifically, but I installed mine back in March and have had zero issues. 19x9.5 +35 w/ 265/35/19 Firestone Indy 500's Lowered on H&R springs, switching to coilovers very soon though. I think the car sits a bit too high still.

Thanks! I am running 265’s, I just want them out a little bit more.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I am not currently but they’re in the works. I’m getting 5mm up front and 15mm in the rear (I don’t want to install extended studs for 10mm, so 15mm is the lowest I could find for bolt on spacers) I think that will make it look even better.

    Supercharger - Mill Hall, PA

I didn't realize there was a post dedicated to this location, I drive by it every day on my way to work. I always keep looking to see if the bags are removed. This is a great location, the Bellefonte supercharger is a good bit out of the way for i80 travelers so I believe this will be...

I agree that there are a lot of Model 3's being rear ended, but my situation definitely wasn't due to dim/malfunctioning brake lights.

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

UPDATE: I finally got my car back and have been enjoying every minute of it, the repairs appear to have been done very well. Unfortunately the new trunk lid has more panel gap on the driver side than my original one did, but I know that isn't the collision center's fault. This is probably the...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

Just another update: After telling my insurance company that they would be done on June 28th, they just pushed the date out again to July 6th.... they feel like this is a "firm" date for completion so I guess we'll see. This collision center's work is supposed to be fantastic, but their...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

It has been a while, but the car still remains at the collision center awaiting parts from Tesla and they have no ETA or completion date. The total is now around $17k in damage and I am driving around a 2020 Dodge Durango  (great for a 70 mile commute). Good news is that State Farm...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Congrats! Given the price and weight they are great wheels! I would have bought my set with a +30 offset if they made them in 19" but I'll just get a spacer for the rear. I'm not brave enough for 20" wheels with the roads around me in PA. 😬

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

Since I initially went through their insurance I already have a rental through them, even though I don't have rental coverage on my policy. I will gladly pay my deductible if the process goes smoother for the shop to get the repair done sooner, I will get the money back eventually. Seems like...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

I agree completely, the only thing it does is damage the other vehicle more. In certain circumstances where they aren't at fault that could be a good thing, but in this case it was very bad given the value of the Jeep vs my Model 3. Would've rather had the Jeep absorb some of the impact as...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

I also noticed that because of her Jeep's bumper being so high up, the rear crash bar is untouched and in perfect shape. I have a feeling that if the crash bar was utilized there would have been a lot less damage. My car being lowered and her Jeep being lifted definitely made the situation...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

I am already going through my own insurance and they will subrogate with State Farm, the shop already warned me of that. I should get my deductible back as long as all of the costs are under her coverage limit ($25k). This quote does include new rear frame rail pieces as well. Diminished...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

UPDATE: The collision center has given me an estimate and ordered the parts. So now it becomes a waiting game, once they arrive we can schedule a day to drop off the car for repair. Hoping the wait isn't too long, but I'm not getting my hopes up given what I've seen from other people waiting...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

Collision center said that State Farm is an absolute pain to deal with when fixing Tesla vehicles (90% of this shop's business is Tesla so I trust them) Apparently they don't authorize all parts necessary to perform a certified repair so I am opening a claim on my insurance and having them...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

UPDATE: State Farm thinks that it will cost $6k to fix, I will update again with what the collision center estimate is tomorrow.

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

My apologies, I can't believe they allow that coverage amount to be so low. So they have close to the minimum coverage then. Trunk floor definitely needs cut out/replaced and the C pillars are slightly dented where the trunk pushed into them and then scraped the paint off as it went upward...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

I was working on getting a new plate holder! 🤣 $20k is around what I was thinking given the inflated tesla price to fix at certified collision centers. I have an estimator from State Farm asking for pictures, so I'll see what they think the repair will cost (guessing it'll be a low ball)...
  48. DVM17

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

Yeah, I will let the insurance companies work that out. I have uninsured/underinsured coverage on my policy so they will deal with suing if need be. I'm very glad I have the coverage, otherwise I would probably never get money from them. It was an older Jeep with minimum coverage and she was...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

Ouch, that's crazy that they poured that much money into the Tiguan. I know it all depends on which state you reside in too, for PA it's a formula that they have so each case is different when figuring out if it is totaled or not. For Texas it's around 100% of the value of the vehicle before...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

You think so? I've been researching rear end collisions on the Model 3 and some of the $15-20k repairs don't even look as bad as mine. I guess since my rear quarters are in good shape (visually) that could save some on the cost to repair. I will definitely push for diminished value.
