These happen all the time, customers cancel at the last moment. The benefit is mostly this will be a yard stock and get delivered swiftly

Post appointment date is also a hit or miss. Vehicle repair etc is unpredictable and Tesla lets you know last minute if moving to a new date. Don't trust until you actually receive the car. I am also in the group where insurance etc has begun and there is no car

They are usually made in batches of 1k-1.5k daily and all the vins for the week are assigned randomly so a 440 and 450 could be older or newer and you would never know. But in the long term, a 470 or 480 will be newer for sure

I couldn't have justified this in better words. My difference was much less. MYLR with upgraded wheels was like 79k and MYP was 85k so I did it as I do not have another mode of transport

EDD these far out are basically useless. It can move up slightly or get delivered by end of the year range as Teslas Austin starts ramping up and delivers to Canada in Q3 (current LR orders may get option to move to SR AWD). Stay hopeful

I'll reiterate... I did the LR vs P comparison (test drives and long trips) and found a very slight worse suspension on P. To get a better suspension you need a better car as both are the same (upgrade tires on P). Thou shalt not repent the MYP order
