    Model Y comfort suspension?

I sent my Model Y 2023 to service because when I picked it up the second row seat was not functioning, and they told me they have to replace the entire second row. So they gave me a loaner. It was a Model 3 Performance. Seems to be either 2020 or 2021. Didn't look at the VIN. But boy that car...

I did its true. Hoping to keep driving this car for at least 8-10 years. Will see!

Almost every one of these 2023 MY LRs has matrix lights

True! And ordered just three days before a 3k price increase in March. So a brand new Model Y LR 7 seater for $60.5k is not too bad I suppose.

Man looks like I missed all the Matrix headlights versions by a week. What a bummer.

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

This thread is fascinating. Is there a TL;DR version? I only need about 10% charge every day. Should I just charge my 2023 MYLR upto 55% for my daily needs? It almost never drops below 40% at that charge limit before plugging it back in at home for then night.

Almost every one of these 2023 MY LRs has matrix lights

Biggest problem with the MYP is the lack of 7 seat option. That's one of the biggest draws to the MYLR for me. My two kids could ride in the back if we have a few guests riding with us all in one car.

    7 seat waiting room

I don't want the bleeding edge. I want my $65k 2023 car to be capable of a rudimentary function like park assist that we were told were standard at the time of ordering. Too much to ask? All we got is "coming soon". No timeline whatsoever. This could be next month or 3 years from now knowing Tesla.

    7 seat waiting room

Well if they bring back USS they better retrofit the cars without them. We were promised a fully functional park assist and we don't have that.

    7 seat waiting room

All cars have issues. Just a fact of life with Tesla. It's just a matter of "how egregious" these issues are.
  10. E

    7 seat waiting room

If it is not available to use by the end user, then it does not exist. I am not aware of anyone without USS that has park assist functional currently.

    7 seat waiting room

They should not release a car without standard functionality already working. As fast as I know, no one actually knows when park assist will be back for cars without USS. Until then, I had to buy a sensor in my garage to help me park and not wrek my brand new car front.

The passenger side single seat works fine. When you push the button you hear the "electric mechanism" releasing. On the driver side, there is no electric activity at all. It's just dead.

No matrix headlights. No USS. Old cameras. The steering wheel is misaligned tilted right. The rear second row seat button that opens to access the third row is not working. Having a very hard time parking it in my tight garage without USS. It's miserable tbh for a 65k car. Not a happy camper...

Vin: PF609. Standard Reflector headlights. Old Cameras. No USS. No idea if I have comfort suspension. Ride seems to be comfortable enough, nothing great. Feels similar to my 12 year old VW Jetta. Bummer. Got some issues with the car too. The steering wheel is misaligned and tilted about 5...

Article: Why the Tesla Semi will transform the trucking industry in North America

This is all good, but unless battery ingredients and supply chains for EVs become sustainable in the near future, this is unlikely to upend the entire trucking industry.

Considering canceling my order. Rekindle the Tesla fire?

Most people define their "Commuting distance" as the maximum one-way distance a worker could reasonably be expected to travel each workday between the worker's residence and place of work. Either way, my point is more than 200miles driven daily can be tricky during winter conditions if you are...

Considering canceling my order. Rekindle the Tesla fire?

Depends. Is it a 100+miles each way or 100+ miles round trip? If its the former I can easily see scenarios where car will have trouble getting to 220-240 highway miles at 80% daily charging.

Post your recent pre-delivery 2023 VINs

No idea why you care , since Austin is not making 4680 battery for public yet, have more questionable quality. Also any matrix headlights equipped model Y is coming from Fremont these days.

Considering canceling my order. Rekindle the Tesla fire?

100+ mile daily commute could be tricky unless she has the ability to charge wherever she is commuting to. Supercharging all the time could be detrimental.

Considering canceling my order. Rekindle the Tesla fire?

Except they gave us cars without the functionality that was given by the USS, "until future date". Worse yet, most cars that are coming out now don't have USS OR the new Cameras. So we are really just getting the short end of the stick. Even the Matrix headlights seem to be a crapshoot on the LR...

Considering canceling my order. Rekindle the Tesla fire?

Why are you pretending that it is either Tesla or ICE? There are plenty of EV options now. Kia EV6, Ioniq 5, VW ID4. I would say in many ways the KIA EV6 is just a much better car than a Tesla Model Y, and is cheaper to boot.

MYLR Unicorn Combo? - March order

There is no guarantee they will get anything. It will depend on how much of the car is reported to be utilizing sources from US or "allied countries". So Teslas may end up qualifying for only half of that 7500, which is the 3750. No one knows exactly as of yet. Also for many people they can...

Tesla through Wells Fargo gave me 4.99%, 72 months. I will stick with that to avoid any third party headaches. I am planning to pay it off in less than a year anyway, unless rates go up so high that Savings accounts are close to that rate.

Yes, today received VIN for 2023 MY LR 7 seat (Fremont) MY

They aren't making 7 seaters in Austin. And my understanding is that due to backward pro dealership laws in Texas that outlaw direct manufacturer sales of cars, Tesla has to ship their cars outside of Texas even if they want to deliver them to in state customers. So the fact that you live in...
