Tesla gave me that estimate in writing after I paid them to do a diagnostic on the battery due to an alert. They would upgrade from 60 to 70.

Now I need some advice on this issue… The third party (Eco Drive USA in Rancho Cordova CA) has provided me with these options… 1) fix the current battery @ $6,700 2) replace/upgrade the battery to a 70 for $13,000 3) buy my car ‘as is’ for $18,000 Of course I can just keep it and drive it...

They did a diagnostic on the battery yesterday. Only one cell is slightly out of balance but enough to throw the whole thing off. Yes it’s a 60 (2013). Sounds like more common with that year and size.
