    FSD Beta 10.69

Interesting. Still, in order to be safer than humans, it's quite possible that it needs to be more cautious than most humans. It's certainly a fine line and I'm not saying that Tesla has reached the right balance yet.

    FSD Beta 10.69

I do feel like a bit of caution will go a long way for regulatory approval, especially looking even longer-term where the driver is no longer required to pay attention, at which point the occasional slowdowns won't be as aggravating (assuming of course it doesn't add additional risk of collision...

    FSD Beta 10.69

Sorry, to clarify, I mean everyone who is getting 10.69.2 was previously on 10.69.1.1, but not everyone from 10.69.1.1 is getting updated yet.

    FSD Beta 10.69

I feel ever so slightly depressed with each wave missed 😓😛 (still on 10.12.2)
  5. H

    FSD Beta 10.69

Am I missing something? Seems like so far everyone is upgrading from 10.69.1.1?
  6. H

    FSD Beta 10.69

Yes OG testers seem to be getting it now.

    FSD Beta 10.13

Also a new screenshot of a long left turn with the update.

    FSD Beta 10.13

Another new roundabout screenshot from this same account.

    FSD Beta 10.13

Did people see this a few days ago? Apparently from an internal 10.13 tester. Seems to be planning pretty far out, which feels like a good sign. Fingers crossed that will help with lane selection for upcoming turns 🤞

    FSD Beta 10.13

I have a busy street similar to Chuck's near my house, but the median blocks you from taking a left turn directly to the opposite side. Instead, there are dedicated U-turn spots, so you have to turn right (going into the left-most lane) and U-turn. As far as I know, FSD can't do this currently...

    FSD Beta 10.12

That's fair. I was also a bit surprised about the rapid rollout to existing users after the slow start. I would love some of the bugs to be ironed out, but I know it won't ever be perfect so I'm just eager to at least have the option to try it out. But I could see the red wheel and false strikes...

    FSD Beta 10.12

So what's the consensus about those waiting to get into the beta still? They just forgot about us? Or are we getting 10.13 in "2 weeks"?
  13. H

    FSD Beta 10.12

I noticed this started rolling out the same day as Beta 10.12.1 and according to TeslaFi is limited to AP3 North America users. So... Maybe it's a holding area for new beta users? This theory fell through during the 10.11 rollout, but it could have just been because they decided it wasn't ready...
  14. H

    FSD Beta 10.12

I don't think it's even started really because it hasn't rolled out to current safety score beta participants (only og participants/employees who didn't use safety score). Elon said it would roll out to them "soon." 10.12.2 will come after that and eventually roll out to new testers, supposedly.
  15. H

    FSD Beta 10.12

And, some good news, a fellow Tesla enthusiast has offered to lend Chuck his car for testing the new beta when it drops!
  16. H

    FSD Beta 10.12

Yes, the first bullet definitely seems directed at his unprotected left scenario (as well as previous tweets from Elon). Chuck even tweeted that he suspects an internal Tesla employee was testing his specific route: .
  17. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

    New testers?
  18. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

    😂😂😂... 😭
  19. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

Yeah, don't mind me, it's not FSD. This is nice though.
  20. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

Probably not FSD related, but some people are updating to 2022.12.1. So far they've all come from 2022.8.3.
  21. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

Sorry for the confusion, my point was that FSD rollout may have further stalled given additional push to non-beta. Most likely new testers won't be added until FSD is >= 2022.8.3, IMO, but we'll see.
  22. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

Looks to be another big push for... 2022.8.3. 2700+ pending installs on TeslaFi.
  23. H

Does AP stack mileage for Safety Score?

The mileage counts, so it can be a good way to increase your score. However, negative factors are based on the percentage of time they happen while you are manually driving. So if you have AP on 90% of the time and have a "hard brake" during your manual driving, it'll ding you more than if you...
  24. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

I would be more optimistic about new testers being added if they hadn't pushed everyone to 2022.8.3 🤔😓
  25. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

Looks like there may be hope yet for 10.10.2 users getting the latest update! (Sadly no reports of any updates from non-beta still)
  26. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

That doesn't sound promising 😥 TeslaFi shows more than 1500 pending installs for 2022.8.2 and 2022.8.3
  27. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

    New testers or existing?

    Wiki FSD Beta release history

Supposedly 10.11.2 should start rolling out to 95+ scores this week... No source given, so I'm not holding my breath quite yet, but we'll see I guess! I could see the start of a new quarter being a relatively less risky time to expand the tester pool more dramatically. 🤷‍♂️

    No Safety Score

Ah, today I had an update for the Tesla app, which then prompted me to activate my safety score because I have Tesla Insurance (California). Seems odd that I had to re-activate it even though I'm still in the FSD queue (I hope...) and the score doesn't actually affect premiums in CA, but all my...

    No Safety Score

Just wanted to clarify in my case. I was seeing safety score since I opted into the FSD Beta queue in January, but yesterday it disappeared for me. I still don't see it today either.
  31. H

    No Safety Score

Interesting. I experienced the opposite: I was able to see my safety score until just now. M3LR on 2022.4.5.17 (in FSD Beta queue).
  32. H

    Snippiness 2.0

Confirmation that "beta will expand," at least in Canada, at some undisclosed time (when they decide it's safe). Not particularly helpful, but something, I guess?
  33. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

Most people holding out for beta seem to have updated to 2022.4.5.17; that and 2022.4.5.18 are both before the current 2022.4.5.20 FSD rollout, so I think there's still hope!
  34. H

    Safety Score Jail Off Ramp?

Yeah I figured it's an anomaly that should be ignored haha.
  35. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

But currently only Model 3 and Y have gotten that update. Do you have an S/X?
  36. H

    FSD Beta 10.11

That's an interesting datapoint. Until now some people were theorizing that new Beta members were being held on 2022.4.5.17 until the next FSD release.
  37. H

    Safety Score Jail Off Ramp?

Maybe it's a red herring, but one TeslaFi user has updated from 2022.4.5.17 to 2022.3.101.1. A few FSD 10.10.2 (2021.44.30.21) users have also updated to that. 🤷‍♂️
  38. H

    Safety Score Jail Off Ramp?

I noticed this as well (before seeing this post), and another interesting datapoint that supports the theory is that all cars on 2022.4.5.17 have Autopilot 3 hardware, according to TeslaFi. There seems to be an update fork from 2022.4.5.3 to either 2022.4.5.17 (US+Canada with AP 3) or 2022.8.2...

    Wiki FSD Beta release history

Oh never mind, I just checked the release notes again, and they are indeed different (just nothing really stood out to me I guess). But I still find it interesting that there seems to be a fork from 2022.4.5.3 to either 2022.4.5.17 (AP 3 US+Canada) or 2022.8.2 (mix of countries/AP versions). It...

    Wiki FSD Beta release history

I noticed that 2022.4.5.17 has only rolled out to cars in USA and Canada which have AP 3 hardware. Otherwise the release notes are the same as 2022.8.2 as far as I can tell. Is there a possible link to the Canada FSD Beta release?
