After my VIN arrived yesterday, I got my EDD update. Originally Aug - Nov, now showing Sep 21 - 30. Which is exactly as I predicted as I'll be overseas until the 1st. Ha.

It looks as if they're rolling through the order dates pretty quickly. My OD is a couple of days after yours, and judging from things so far, I'm expecting to get a VIN by about the 25th of July.

Agreed. I'm fortunate to be in a position where I could buy the car outright, in cash. But, as stated, doing the finance for half to actually have a credit rating. It's more the annoyance.

When I spoke to Macquarie and asked about this (I'm doing a split of cash and finance only because I wanted to get a credit history after not having debt for 10 years) I was told the early payment fee would be around $500 if I recall.

My sales rep from Tesla confirmed this morning that my order (4/2) will indeed have the MC included. He stated this does not affect Australian orders.

For what its worth, I asked my Tesla sales rep if they were expecting delays due to Shanghai closure, and he said no. I ordered mine Feb 4th and it's still sitting at 14-20 weeks from order date.
