Haha I think it’s purely being so close to the factory, about 80 miles. I have not forgotten how my order didn’t matter until I was willing to pay more. And the annoyance continues. I ordered trunk, well, and frunk liners and wouldn’t you know the order is delayed.

TBH they all use the same suppliers aside from doing battery storage. Tesla is better vertically integrated but, surprise, their service is *sugar* most often. So it matters more what your timeline and expectations for installation. for that, it various reginaolly.

It has now been a week since a RWD VIN was reported on the tracking sheet. Ya'll....wtf is going on? They're estimated to deliver more than 350K cars this year and break their own records?

My SA quit the week I ordered and I've been on my own since. I was never reassigned. I've emailed the general inbox for my pick-up center (Arden in Sacramento) about once a month and they have never, ever responded. I have had zero human communication with the company since January 10.

It doesn't mean anything of the sort. I'm aware of three RWD orders who were later OD in January, identical cars, same state and they have their cars already. There is no rhyme or reason.

Feeling so antsy to see what happens closer to the end of the quarter. They're shipping LR in less than 60 days (most orders getting VINS have March OD's) and some orders in less than 30. Performance is routinely 30-45 days. Like they're pretty caught up - can they not do a big run of RWD orders...

The consensus is color, wheels, and interior changes don't put you at the back but can change how you're prioratized. It seems that folks who upgrade in some way very often get their cars first.

Good stuff! Seeing this trend - pushed out for 2-3 weeks into July and Augsut before pulling back to an earlier and tighter window - happening here and on Reddit. They may yet still push out all the 2021 orders this quarter.
