Snowy day trip from the Borders up to Aberdeen and back. USS doesn’t work in the snow. Best thing about the holiday update is the ‘automatic indicator mode’ though I do also like Apple Music.

I also found that you had to watch the regen braking in the snow too. Instinctively taking your foot off the accelerator as you might do in an ICE to just coast and use engine braking definitely doesn’t have the same effect! You really need to manage the accelerator carefully to slow down in snow.

The 70 plate M3P loaner I had was about 300Wh per mile compared to 265Wh for my Y. Only charged it on slow chargers so 30mph just like the Y. Hope they sort out your car soon 😀

I was at the Glasgow SC on Friday picking up my car after a repair and there were quite a few new MY’s and M3’s all ready and waiting for collection.

VaDA is back from the Glasgow SC and now blemish free. Updated software to 2022.24.5 today at home and repositioning of blind spot camera is a good update. Glad to have my Y rather than the M3P loaner 😊

I have a 70 plate loaner M3P at the moment as VaDA has been in the service centre getting a delivery blemish sorted. The M3P has the carbon rear spoiler and although fixed it does look ‘loose’ at both ends - perhaps wear and tear. I do like the red caliper covers.

If I remember correctly from one of my earlier posts on here Tusker ordered in total about 270 Tesla’s (Model Y and Model 3) for expected delivery in Q3. Not a bad guess on demand if they only have 9 left.

VaDA has to go to KwikFit for any tyre repairs (part of the lease deal) so they must be set up for Tesla’s too.

I think all the Scottish cars get delivered to Glasgow (they have a much larger premises than Edinburgh to store cars and receive transporters) and then any delivery of cars will be by single car transporter/trailer from there. I was offered home delivery but preferred pre-arranged date/time...

It’s now showing as up-to-date at 2022.20.5 but still has green download arrow on screen and showing as trying to download .06 in the app. She is going to the service centre next week for another issue so I’ll get her checked then if it’s not cleared.

1000 miles done and 266 Wh/m for me on mainly country A & B roads and ‘fairly gentle’ driving. Don’t know how I’d get to 217Wh/m and still have a smile on my face 😊
