Try and stay optimistic. I got pushed from an early May 2 week window to an August-September window on Wednesday and figured I was looking at a Q3 delivery. If we’ve learned anything here it’s that these constantly shifting EDDs aren’t a very good predictor of actual delivery dates.

Thank you for sharing what you’ve seen on other threads. I was thinking that the VIN was close enough to the others that it probably wasn't a demo, but it’s reassuring to get someone else’s perspective.

I got a VIN this morning, delivery 5/6-5/8. I am a little concerned by the number though…I e been seeing a lot of 429 here lately and this is a 424. Could this be a test drive car or maybe a vehicle that has been refused by one or more reservation holders already?

Well, as I had feared, my EDD got pushed this morning. I had been sitting on a 2 week window (May3-May17) and I’ve now been pushed to Aug6-Sept17. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to any of this. I’m hoping that these dates will get pulled back soon, but it’s not like there’s any guarantee...

Does anyone know at what point in the process we can safely assume that we will take delivery on the date provided? I would’ve assumed getting a VIN would be a fairly strong indication that delivery was imminent (within 1-2 weeks), but I believe I’ve seen people in this forum share experiences...

My original EDD was March, but I currently have the exact same window as you, 4/30-5/28. Are you in the northeast by any chance?
