    14-50R in Canada

Very good to know on the "warming up" trick. I'll have to keep that in mind when I install another one.

    14-50R in Canada

Oh wow. Yeh that's why I like the Bryant/Hubble anvil style. Even when I used 6 AWG your couldn't move the wires if you braced yourself against the wall.😆

    14-50R in Canada

Thats good to know. Would you be able to post pictures of the lugs. Is it an anvil style clamp like the Bryant/Hubble? I need to get an extra receptacle to install at my sisters place for "free" charging 😁

    CCS Adapter for North America

Ah good to know. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. That said, this would even further limit the "demand" for the CCS1 adapters, at lease initially.

    14-50R in Canada

I ended up buying a Bryant (same as Hubble) for just under $100 from Amazon as here were by far the cheapest. Tried looking at electrical supply places and they weren't any cheaper unless you were a contractor with an account. As an aside, I originally bought a Bryant 6-50 receptacle, but I...

    CCS Adapter for North America

Not really any different than my pestering of Tesla on where the heck the CCS1 adapter is and their non-committal response of "its coming"

    CCS Adapter for North America

Moreover, given that the adapter was already listed in the retrofit kit tells me this has nothing to do with Canadian/US certification. https://driveteslacanada.ca/news/ccs-retrofit-kit-appears-in-tesla-parts-catalog/ Note, this listing has been subsequently pulled (no longer listed).

    CCS Adapter for North America

You are referring to cars that were build before a certain date (November 2021?) that aren't CCS enable and require retrofit, correct? Any cars built after this would benefit from a CCS adapter (as they are CCS ready). Given the relatively small number of cars that are CCS ready, the demand...

    CCS Adapter for North America

Finding Korean Tesla CCS1 Adapters on Ebay in Utah for $1500 USD o_O. That will help with supply chain

    CCS Adapter for North America

Hey everyone - new member here and in the same boat of deciding whether to buy the CCS1 adapter from South Korea or to wait until its released in North America. If I do order from Korea, I probably be leaning on you guys for some help. As for why the adapter has not been released in NA yet...
