Yeah, all the information was already there in the servers so they just pushed out the update through the ‘server side’ in txt format. Rather than go through all the bureaucracy of the app stores. I do agree that it could be neatened up and better designed in the following updates they push out...- Steveohkb24

Tesla Virtual Power Plant - CA (Released for some SCE customers starting 08.15.2022)
I also don't have the option. I'm with SCE and Clean Power Alliance (CPA) as well. I got 4 pws (2 pw+ and 2 pws). I advise you open up a ticket to Tesla.
