Anyone in the UK 'upgraded' their Model Y suspension?

And it doesn't get any better with a few miles on the clock. I remember a few discussions when the model Y first came that eventually the suspension may wear in and become more bearable but for me with a March 22 plate there has been literally zero improvement after 17,000 miles, granted I have...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

I just spoke to an advisor about my options for a LHD plaid and thought for a laugh Il get a trade in value for my model Y, 58k 13 months ago and now…….. 37k trade in 👀 I’ve always bought new or 6 months old but jeez that seems steep for 1 year. Think il end up sticking with it for now and see...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

I was looking at this about an hour ago and after a refresh 2 plaids have disappeared that matched what I wanted, so looks like we will see someone in a LHD driving around........

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

Absolutely gutted in my mind I had already driven all over the place in it 😂 can stop watching all those plaid you tube videos now 👀 it’s difficult to find an alternative as for me it ticked so many boxes, 6/7 seater with performance and practicality I can’t see anything new that comes close...

    Crazy low residuals?

Not a bad idea but if you are buying through a limited company it has to be new, although I do agree with the some of the posters about 120k for the X is bonkers.

    Crazy low residuals?

What if you do have a genuine need for a 6/7 seater electric car? There really is no option apart from the X or maybe EQS. I think until the likes of Audi or BMW bring out an electric 7 seater SUV the X will sell.

    New Tesla Y Owner

👍 I must be one of the few who doesn’t even use the free auto lane assist that comes with every car. I did try using it a few times and the amount of effort to keep touching the steering wheel and the constant engaging disengaging was just annoying. The big instance for me was doing a long...

    New Tesla Y Owner

I’m moving to my third Tesla soon and I’ve never purchased FSD and for me I struggle to see how they could ever truly make it work to the point where you can fully relax with the car in control. When we are driving there are so many things we pick up on intuitively that I just can’t see how any...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

I think if they were going to cancel the order they would probably have notified you by now, hopefully they just move your order to the 6 seater as you haven’t changed your model choice. I’ve also been looking at the reliability especially the recent EU deliveries and in the US, and it does...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

I also only have the RN order number, placed July 2021. The yoke wheel is listed in the features but at that time there was no alternative. I’m hoping closer to the time of shipment we will be allowed to make that change without affecting our agreed price. When I did order I do remember there...

Model S/X Refresh UK Waiting Room

Just had this email regarding my MXP order. “ Your Model X Order Agreement will be updated within 48 hours with our latest pricing, making your Tesla more affordable. You can review your Order Agreement anytime in your Tesla Account under 'Documents'. “

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

In 2021 when the model X/S new orders stopped for a while they removed all pricing. Around that time I had an email from Tesla to say the price I had ordered at would be honoured aslong as I did not make any changes to the configuration. Currently my order has no option for editing on the...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

Thanks for the heads up, if it did come down to paying significantly more for the round steering wheel then I would leave it at my current price and stick with the yolk, its also difficult to get an idea of what the prices will be when they are re-instated but basing it on the EU prices I think...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

For all those waiting for the new model X/S like myself there seems to be some changes to the configurator this morning. Option to have a round steering wheel or yolk now being offered. Red brake callipers appear to be back for plaid models. Hopefully il have the option to change my 2021 plaid...

Anyone in the UK 'upgraded' their Model Y suspension?

💯 agree with you on this. I part-ex a MP3 that was 9 months old for a MYL and the bukaroo description you mentioned is so true I tend to notice your head bounces a lot of the seat even at low speeds and bumpy roads on one such trip my wife and myself actually started laughing at the comedy ride...
