You just need to upload a document showing you have insurance on ANY vehicle, it doesn't have to be the Tesla. I think you could even upload a blank PDF as I don't think any human actually verifies it. I brought my insurance proof with me to delivery, but they never asked to see it. I haven't...

Congrats on the delivery! Unfortunately, I think that interior fender paint issue is "normal" (really abnormal, but everybody likely will get it that way). That was one of the very first things I looked for, and mine was like that too. Let us know if they actually fix that one for you.

Got my VIN yesterday. Interestingly, it was only 1 day later than what my SA told me it would be when I talked to him on 8/6. He had also told me it would be ready for pickup 8/26 and the new EDD is 8/27-8/31. So the info available to him turned out to be pretty accurate.

Question for those of you getting the Mobile Connector included with your delivery. Does it just have the NEMA 5-15 Adapter, or does it also include the 14-50 Adapter?

Given that's it's a two week window, you may want to reach out to your SA as they likely have more accurate info. When mine went to a two week window last week, checked with my SA and he told me I'd be getting a VIN 8/13 with a ready for pickup date of 8/26.

Congrats on the VIN! I actually wanted same color as yours, but opted to pay extra $1K for blue to get it 2 months sooner.

My config is M3LR | DBM | Black | 18" Aero | No FSD. Given your window went from 14 days to 12 days, I would guess you should be getting your VIN in the next 2-3 days. You definitely should be getting the VIN in less than 7 days, as that's when mine is expected and my window is still 14 days.
