unfortunately, a u029 won’t run indefinitely. it may run for some time - weeks/months - but the reason the alert has been trigger is that the pack is self-discharging. either rapidly in the case of one rogue cell, or more slowly in the case of a collection of several aging and defective cells...

we intentionally avoid any supercharging mods. full stop. for exactly the same reason(s) cited by @wk057 - the risk-reward/ROI just isn’t there. and, we understand if your a road warrior and power user. power users buy power tools. 😉

we always recommend taking a snapshot at the 80% level. you can get some fairly large divergence out at the ends of the curve. (not to suggest that 100 mV just disappears, but 80% gives you a much more reliable view of the actual delta)

unfortunately, with no upgrade path or reman option on the Model S 60’s, a replacement pack from Tesla is typically your best bet on the 60’s. occasionally we can do a repair in place on a 60 kWh pack, but stars need to align in terms of the issue and the repair involved.
