The gm of the tesla location said it was a faulty fastener issue. Not exactly sure what that means but they are waiting for a part to be delivered. given everything going on in the world, I think there are bigger issues to be concerned about. Delaying delivery for a few days (or even weeks)...

Supposed to be Schaumburg. Got a call from the GM there the day before pickup. He claims it's affecting 90% of the planned deliveries.

Was supposed to pick up in Chicago suburbs yesterday but got a call saying they're holding back due to an issue with the rear seats. Apparently there is a faulty fastener and they need to wait for the replacement part to arrive. Anyone else having this issue?

I think you’ll see it when you go through the whole process. I uploaded all my info (trade in, drivers license, insurance, etc). In the final payment amount, they add the $100.

They charge you the $100 even if you put down the $2500 deposit earlier...

So with the new rollout, as far as I can tell, the price of a performance edition went DOWN by $100, to $61,900. I previously ordered in early Jan and the car price was $62,000 then with 20” wheels. The changes are: - upgraded wheels to 21 - removal of track mode - removal of carbon fiber...
