Ran into similar issues. I ended up going with Alliant. Super easy to apply and they deal with Tesla directly.

Front Windshield is XR Plus 45%. Definitely recommend everyone do 70-80% which is practically clear just for the heat rejection.

Once you report it, you’re free to drive as much as you like. They just look at those issues more seriously then if you report it later and it comes to them as a delivery time issue. My first MY I submitted issues and they couldn’t look at the car until 2+ weeks later.

My temp plate flew off in San Antonio and I drove to Houston no problems. I think they can email you a temp plate when it’s ready.

The great people at Gulf Coast Auto Shield took care of the MYP. 15% front windows 45% front/rear windshield, rear windows I had gone lighter on my previous MY and always felt like I could go darker.

Honestly haven’t seen anything major. With the SR I bought in July it had some glaring issues with paint and scratches but this one looks pretty good. Going to look at it more in depth in the morning.

I actually like that Tesla doesn’t give anyone special treatment really. Every car on the road pays the same price. If you’re a pushover at a regular dealership, they’ll wring you dry. At Tesla, everyone is treated the same 😂

Almost lol original delivery was 8/29, moved it to 9/1 then moved it to 8/30.

On Friday, Tesla messaged and said my car was delayed in transit and they moved my delivery from today 8/29 to Thursday 9/1. I messaged them this morning asking if it could be moved up and got this response 😁

Car broke down, you waited a long time for Road Side (Pretty normal no matter who you use) and the service center gave you a loaner the next day. Sounds like a great service experience to me.

Congrats on Austin LR! How was pickup at Cypress? I was supposed to pick up MYP on Monday but they messaged saying it’s not here yet so they moved it to Thursday 😭

Okay that makes more sense with people receiving credit recently to put towards a charger

I’ve really yet to see a delivery not include a charger even though they said they weren’t going to include it from April.

I believe Tesla only provides the MVPA from what I’ve seen after you’re assigned VIN. The other items don’t seem like normal Tesla items - not sure if they’ll provide it like that. Is that Credit Union you’re using familiar with financing Tesla?

Houston. MYP Black/Black VIN F521 I was scheduled for delivery on 8/29 and got the dreaded “Your Model Y has not Arrived” and they auto pushed the delivery date to 9/1 😭

I flew to San Antonio for my pickup and the temp tag wasn’t ready, took an extra 1.5 hours. Someone had to physically go to the court house 20 mins from their showroom to get it. It ended up flying off on the drive home and they had to email me a new one anyway 😂

I did Gulf Coast as well. 20% Front Windows, 70% rear windows and rear glass - Prime XR 70% Front Windshield Prime XR Plus John talked me out of paying extra money to do Prime XR Plus all around and doing 15% in the front. Very hard to find honest people in the automotive space 😃

I sold this for my Model Y this month 🤷🏻‍♂️ Tesla with autopilot is going to give you more driving comfort than the truck. Less space sure, but it sits higher and easy to get in/out.
