I ended up cancelling my 3rd service appointment knowing it might give me another disappointment. So I brought a 1 inch thick * 1 inch wide foam strip (it's around $10 on amazon) and stuffed it into the gap between the rear motor and the housing which It i believe is where the noise comes from...

Had my second service appointment for the whining noise issue this week. Unfortunately, the technician said the noise is not excessive and it's normal drive unit sound. I told him that the perimeter seal might be installed correctly, but he claimed to fix the seal he has to drop the battery...

Please keep us posted on your service appointment, i have mine scheduled on 6/27, would like to know what other service center's opinion on this noise.

i picked up my MYLR 2 weeks ago, it also gets the high pitched whine noise. Service center claimed it's normal and i need to get used to it
