Welcome to the club.. I've been in 3w long EDD windows about 4 times this summer; pushed every time, typically the 2nd day of the window. Last push was downright insulting: "December 2020" This morning was updated again to 09/18 - 10/09. Means nothing to me, until I see a VIN.

To get the valuation or how long it's valid for? For me, the valuation comes back in about 3 days, valid for 30 days. Since I've been doing this for 10mo, typically they only ask for a pic of the odometer, but every 4mo or so they want new pics of the whole car.

A month ago I walked into the delivery center to ask what's going on with the forever pushed EDD range (at the time it was within 3 days of the then current EDD range), they guy looked up stuff in the computer and very seriously said I should get it within 10 days, by "the end of the month"...

If you don’t take the Tesla trade-in offer, don’t you lose the sales tax portion of the trade-in? My trader-in value, although is going down a couple of hundred every time, it still works out as sales tax value of about 4500; so selling it would need to be at least that much over the trade in offer

If you take the trade-in off the account altogether then yeah. Otherwise, that's the problem: having an expired trade-in evaluation delays your being allocated a VIN
