almost exact same thing happened to me. I filed a hit and run police report. Then filed a claim with my insurance and told them I had it on video. They tracked the guy down through his insurance (which happened to be the same company as mine), and filed a claim against his insurance policy...

I just did my financing through Tesla and figured I'd refi for a better rate later. You may want to try that route.

I can take some when I get off. The gap is a little wider on the right side of the trunk then the left side. Not by much but I could tell, but not enough to complain to the dealer about it. I mostly looked over all the gaps for uniformity on right and left side. that was the only one I spotted.

Took delivery of "Checo" today. One small panel gap discrepency but nothing else wrong with the car that I can think of. My car came with the accessory charger and my order date was 5/3....guess the memo hadn't reached the factory floor yet!

I paid $600 for the install. Charger is about 5 feet from the circuit breaker panel in the garage.

delivery. I've had my VIN for over a week. Went by the Tesla Service Center where I'll pick up my car yesterday and the guy told me my car may already be in their back lot. They've got inspections and prep they need to do before they schedule the pick up....that made me feel great...grrr....

it may push right. My window narrowed from 14 days, to 12 days, to five days and then yesterday pushed left from 6/21-6/26 to 6/16 - 6/21. Got my text that my car had been shipped last Thursday.

there's no consistency with it unfortunately. I hear different timelines for everyone. It seems like it's very geography oriented.

I got my VIN about 9 days before my EDD window. I'd reach out to your SA. I would think you'd have it already.

they all value cars differently. We also have "We Buy Anycar" in Virginia. I've heard that Carmax gives the highest value for older cars. I sold my truck through We Buy Any Car and got $10K over what I paid for it a few years ago. Carvana gave me the best price on my wife's 2018 BMW X5 so...

well, my EDD is now 6/16 - 6/22 but still no text yet. I can't have my cell in my office so I'm walking outside every hour to check...sigh...

Okay. App just updated. Got a text last Thursday and said my Tesla has left the factory. Watch out for a text to schedule delivery. EDD was 6/21-6/26. Today EDD changed to 6/16-6/21

I got both USAA and Tesla quotes. Tesla was around $115 a month, USAA was $90

the same thing happened to me. Tightened from 14 days to 12. Then about a week later tightened to 5 days and then a couple of days later I got my VIN

Just got an update from my SA. He said I’d sign the final loan paperwork and ACH my $4500 down payment on the day of pickup at the Tesla service center.

did anyone do their financing through the Tesla app? I was preapproved through BMO Harris but I haven't gotten any electronic paperwork to process the loan and I'm due to schedule my delivery in the next week. I'd hate to get delivery delayed because there's a disconnect with the financing.

got a text yesterday saying my car has left the Fremont factory and is in transit and to be on the lookout for a text in the next week to schedule delivery...woo-hoo! EDD 6/21 - 6/26. I have the feeling that all future texts will come from the Tesla SA's in McLean, VA where I'm picking up the car.
