Prediction: Coal has fallen. Nuclear is next then Oil.

That is true. I do like the ability to supplement the grid of commercial during daytime operations, which is typically where I pitch my tent on sales. But yes, exactly. Utility solar… yuck

    Window Tint Too Expensive

I feel like it’s very location specific. There are pros here who knock out 4 window ceramic tint to 35% in 2 hours for $300. They even pick your car up and return it to the lot once finished.

Prediction: Coal has fallen. Nuclear is next then Oil.

Sounds great in theory and while you don’t NEED to spoil nature, they do. You see it everywhere, sprawling panels covering vast areas of land, looking like a disgusting grid of 30% efficiency. How much is enough for solar? You say you can cover roof tops, car ports, businesses? I actually...

Prediction: Coal has fallen. Nuclear is next then Oil.

I’m a pro-nuclear dude — I just don’t think wind and solar are capable of supporting the tremendous power needs of humans. And I despise how solar takes up this massive land “footprint” and find solar to generally be an eyesore. Not saying that a nuclear power plant is pretty by any means but...

    Pedestrian Warning System

Hey guys, relatively new here. I just purchased a 2019 Model 3 (April 2019 build) about 3 weeks ago. I’m looking to add the PWS to my car at some point in the near future and I’ve already found all the information I need in order to do this (the prewiring exists in the RF kick panel and the...

Installing Wall Connector is better than NEMA 14-50

Aye, if you have the wiring already in place to support the 60amp requirement of the wall charger, it would be very simple at that point to replace the wall charger with a 50 amp RV box like the Eaton CHU1S that has the 14-50 built in. You would just need to reduce the breaker size to 50 amps...

Magnetic Filter Cover for Model 3

I picked up a flexible shaft multi-bit screwdriver that had a t20 bit. Made it a breeze to get that screw out. $10 at O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Service says $22k for new battery on 2012 Model S

I doubt the entire battery pack has died or been damaged. It’s likely a component failure in the battery that’s let the smoke out. This is where electronic repair experts are going to shine soon. Thousands of 18650 batteries, controllers and contactors inside of the housing and I would bet only...
